Vietnam offers many cultural and natural wonders. During my 6 weeks trip, I have been left speechless many times by the beauty of its landscape, the warmth of its people (not everywhere though) and the culture and history of the country. Here are 3 things not to miss in Vietnam:
1- Ha Giang Province
This is the highlight of my trip in Vietnam, and probably the best 5 days of my life. Ha Giang Province is located in North Vietnam, what you do there is a motorbike road trip for 3 to 5 days, the loop is about 300km long. This area is really remote, the mountainous landscape just amazing and you can meet many tribes there. Here are some pics:

2- Ninh Binh Province
Ninh Binh Province is also amazingly beautiful. It’s called the terrestrial Halong Bay because of the rock formations there, similar to the one in Halong Bay. My favorite part was the boat ride along the river, the view is breathtaking. It is so quiet, I felt like I was transported into a different time or universe. You can judge by yourself:

3- Hoi An
I’m not usually a big fan of cities but Hoi An is just the cutest town ever, with such a nice atmosphere. It used to be an important harbor back in the days, making it a multi-cultural city. Now the historical center has been really well restored and has been declared a UNESCO world heritage.
